How the Register Works
This is an online list of traditional healers in Cameroon. It is the definitive impartial source of information that shows the type of registration each healer holds, their training, and other useful information.
The register is there to give confidence that healers practising traditional medicine in Cameroon have the training, skills and experience needed to meet the standards that informed patients expect.
The register is designed for the following purposes: skills and resources indices; prospective studies; and specific information purposes. Entries are consistently updated, and derived from multiple overlapping sources in well-defined populations.
The register will give you details of:
The type of registration a healer currently holds
Whether they hold a licence to practise
Whether they are registered to work as a healthcare professional or specialist consultant
The date that they registered (association)
Whether they are taking further medical training and where
The association that looks after their performance and appraisal
